We walked the magnificent Noosa national park trail. I remember running it every morning on other holidays, catching the offshores and the empty line-ups, if we were lucky scoring one of the points, but mostly surfing the beaches of Alexander bay. It’s still breathtaking. Blue jays and kookaburras warbling and serenading and laughing, dolphins and sometimes a whale breaching. This time it wasn’t the points, but onshore fun wedges at Alexander bay. I surfed a couple of peaks with only my nephews, my brother and my sister. So rad!
Today however I scored little points, first point and little cove. I had peeling 200 yard plus waves, mostly walked back to the take off point. Middle of winter, 68 degree water and 74 air temp. Surfed with 8 others. Amazing. Loving this place again, it’s somewhere to rejoice in sunshine and ocean. #indielearnsaboutoz
